A first

Yesterday was the first time that I actually ate Chinese food and liked it… didn’t make me gag at all.. Usually I can’t stand the smell of Chinese food… Let alone eat it , seeing it or smelling it or even thinking about it just makes me want to throw up….I remember a time when My step-father would get Chinese and We had to eat whatever they put on our plates..and I hated it..He would get up to go to the sink or bathroom or if he was finished eating and as soon as his back was turned i was shoveling my food on my brothers plate. Usually when Mike brings the stuff home I go in the bedroom until they are done eating it and I come out with air freshener lol.. I don’t know what it is about that stuff that makes me so sick to my stomach  But yesterday Mikes Sister Tricia came over to get an old xbox for Noah for his birthday …We didn’t want anything for it.. Mike didn’t use it anymore anyways but his sister decided to make us dinner in exchange for the xbox.  She called me up and asked me do you guys like Chinese .. my first thought was gag … but I said Mike and the kids do.. I don’t .  She was making it herself..not buying it from one of the Chinese restaurants around here.  When she got here..it looked really good..(usually Chinese doesn’t look good at all to me ) Tricia told me its not like the stuff in the restaurants so i opened the lid and got a whiff of what it smelled like.. OMG! It smells soo good.. I was almost in shock that i didn’t want to run to the bathroom and get sick.  I closed the lid..and then opened it back up ..I decided to taste it ! I know crazy huh… Me actually trying something I was sure I wouldn’t like.. It was sooo yummy.. I couldn’t believe it .. so I guess I might like chinese… but Homemade Tricia Chinese.. Im still not going to try any of the stinky stuff Mike brings home yuck!  but wow  this stuff Tricia made was delish!  I did however pick out all the sweet peppers.. but just rice chicken and that sauce stuff she had in it was soo yummy.. Mike told me not to touch it .. It was his …His words exactly were you don’t even like Chinese!

Thanks Tricia for making such yummy food.. I can’t wait to see & taste what you make next week.

Wow I can’t believe your 9 already.. It seems like just yesterday I met you and you were 2!  I will never forget the first time I met you.. You climbed up in my lap and asked me to read you a book. You showed me all of your toys and showed me a few pics in a magazine who you thought was your mommy..but really it was some gorgeous actress.. I didn’t tell you any different …That is how you seen your mommy ..witch was just fine with me.  You were/are Daddys lil angel ..at 2 years old I couldn’t believe how incredibly smart you were and still are.  Now your 9 and have 2 brothers and a lil sister.. now instead of reading books to you , your reading books to your lil brothers & sister. Kamryn & Will adore you!  You are the best big sister a lil brother or sister could ask for!   I am looking forward to watching you grow up into a beautiful smart adult!  Happy Birthday Sweetie.. Hope you have a great day =) Daddy & I love you very much!

Happy Birthday Mike, I Hope your birthday is as great as you made mine last week, You deserve it!! Wow 27!!  It’s hard to believe we have been together almost 7 years already.. It seems like just yesterday we met each other! We have came along way since we were 20 & 18 !  We have been thru a lot together , but most importantly we have stuck by each others side thru it all and haven’t let anyone ruin what we have and lord knows they sure have tried!  I am so proud of the man you have become and all the accomplishments you have made!  Its hard to believe that almost 7 years ago , you only had 1 beautiful lil girl and now you/we have 4 awesome kids who love you with all their hearts!  I am sooo glad we met each other and made our lives so much better together!  I love you more than words can express!

PS. Good luck on your test today , I’m sure you will pass it with flying colors =)

RIP Sweet Diva

 

 

For the past month Diva has been sick… throwing up … diharrea .. not as active pretty much just laying around mostly on my bed.  Anyone who knows Diva knows she is a hyper dog who loves attention.. she greeted everyone at the door with kisses.  We knew something was wrong so we took her to the “Trusted” vet  Dr. Nolte … Mike wanted to take her there because he said thats where is momma took his dog Samantha ..so thats where we took her.. He said that it looked like she ate something  other than food and it was stuck .. so he gave her two shots and gave me a bottle of antibotics to give her to control the high fever she had and hopefully that would help her pass whatever it was she supposedly ate.  well after a week of meds and her not eating at all anymore and barely drinking anything , we took her back . He took some xrays and blood work. the xray (from what he says) said that she had a large mass the size of a baseball stuck in her small intesine and the blood work said she had an infection . She was soo skinny , she had lost at least 30lbs.  she could barely get up on my bed anymore and everytime she went to get down she yelped.  So Nolte said she needed surgery to drop her off wed morning and he would call us around 2pm.  We dropped her off and he called at 2 and said that there was nothing he could do that she had a large tumur on her small intestine  that we needed to come get her.  ( I thought it was a little weird that we would have to come get her the same day she had exploritory surgery… I thought she would of needed care after the surgery)  So when we got there to pick Diva up… Mike went in while I sat in the truck with the kids.  Then this woman comes walking around the back side of the building .. i figure she was just walking one of the dogs .. and I was right she was.. I didn’t see the dog .. but Kamryn did .. She yelled out Mommy why is Diva bleeding .. why is there blood all over her??? whats that stuff coming out of her belly!  I was like what?! This woman took Diva from the building walked her out the back door … sprayed her with a hose to get all the blood off of her and then made Diva (who just had major surgery) walk around the building! I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Nolte didnt even wrap the entire inscision up .. they stuff that Kamryn asked what it was.. was some of her insides falling out in between the few stiches she had .. from where he didnt wrap her up all the way!  We loaded her up in the truck and called another vets office and they told us to take her straight to the Pets ER .. That after surgery like that she needed to be medically cared for over the next 24 hours. That he should of never sent her home! I knew I was right! Then  I realized why Dr. Nolte wanted the tech to take Diva out back and spray her down .. Im sure he didnt want to walk her thru his office out to where Mike was waiting for her because then all the other people in his office would see what he had done to Diva!! I wish we would of took her back in there for all of them to see!  So once we got to the pets ER and explain what all had been going on .. They explained all of our options … We could of had them open her back up to make sure in fact it was a tumur and if it was they would take it out depending on the size of it and how much of the small intestine they would have to take out.  She told us that we would have to pay 1200 down and after she opens her up and if it is a tumur .. the price to remove it depending on the size and all that it could of been up to 2 grand … and thats not including if she needs a blood transfusion … witch they said she probably would because Nolte hadn’t closed her up right and blood was everywhere all over my truck .. the side walk where we had been waiting for the pets er to open inside the office … it was bad.  So since we don’t have money like that We were left with no choice but to put her down.. It was probably one of the hardest decisions for me… exspecially since I watched her be born in my kitchen almost 3 years ago…I’ll never forget it … it was really cold..  December 7th 2005.  She was the only white one of the liter of 6 .. she was the only one who didnt yelp when she was picked up .. she would just lay there with you with no worries. as she got bigger she was the only pup who didnt constantly bark!  So we explained to the kids (who I would of found a sitter for if I had any idea it would of been like that!) that Diva was really sick and had to go to doggy heaven… they both cried and said they didn’t want Diva to go with Poppop in heaven , that they missed her and wanted to take her home.  It was really hard.. we all were in tears! I took the kids out to the truck and Mike stayed with Diva thru it all!  I couldn’t do it!  So we took Diva to my dads house and buried her and cried some more.  It was the most horrific thing I ever had to see and go thru ! 

We are going to file a complaint against Nolte… We were told that he already has 6 lawsuits against him! After talking to a few friends they all said why did you take her there.. hes known to be a butcher.. And he sure did butcher Diva !  Someone should really take his license!!!  And can you believe he takes care of the zoo’s animals???

1st Day of School

Kamryn started Pre-k  last Monday Aug. 25th … I was/am really excited about her starting school.  My mom & I went out and bought some new clothes and the night before she started I decided to wash them..it wasn’t a full load so i threw in some of Mike’s work clothes, BIG MISTAKE!  Go figure the one time I don’t check his pockets there would be a pen in the pocket.  Yup you guess it..all her new clothes ruined… and not a single ink stain on his work clothes.. I didn’t see the ink spots until the morning she was to start school.. once I seen it I started flipping out.. she had nothing to wear! Off to target I went and found a pretty lil dress … just in time to have her put it on and take her  to school..

Kamryn has to be at school at 11:45 and gets out at 2:45 … its not very long but its a lil break for me. They split her class into 3 groups. The first group went on Monday (Kamryns group) the second on Tuesday and the third on Wednesday and then the entire class went on Thursday.  I asked her how she liked school when I picked her up.. she said she liked it but a mean girl called her a baby! I asked her what she did hoping she didn’t call the girl a name back or hit her ..She told me she told the teacher on her. I was soo glad she didn’t hit that lil girl.  So on Thursday I asked her how her day at school went and she said the teacher wouldn’t let her eat her food. I checked her lunch box and nothing was touched … not even the fruit snacks she loves! I asked her if the mean girl was mean to her today and she said no.  Friday I asked her in front of the teacher if she ate her lunch and she said yes but the mean girl ate half of her sandwich.. I asked her to point out the mean girl… and she did and wow is that a big girl… she looks like she belongs in 1st grade not pre-k .. so the teacher said that she will take care of that. and So far this week Kamryn has eaten all her lunch and hasn’t had any problems.. but everyday on the way to school this week she has said she hates school … I think its because she has to listen to someone other than ME and doesnt get to go play with the kitchen set whenever she wants too lol.

So a few friends of mine told me that I should get Goof off… that it should take the ink out… well i went right out to Lowes and bought some… It did get most of the ink out and all of the ink out of some shirts but not everything. I’m going to keep applying it until it gets it all.
